For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Nova II SS in Greenacres, Washington for sale in Greenacres, WA

1 of 50
Vehicle Description Details This 1967 Chevy II Nova Super Sport is a restored-modified example with 47,085 miles shown on the 5-digit odometer (total mileage is unknown).
It's powered by the original 327ci V8 engine matched to a replacement Muncie 3-speed automatic transmission that replaced the original 2-speed Powerglide.
Originally believed to be delivered in gold paint with matching gold interior, this well-presented example now wears pearl white paint and bright chrome and appears to have been garaged most of its life.
In addition to the exterior color change, this SS has been modified with an engine dress up kit, electronic ignition, new Edelbrock carburetor, upgraded aftermarket intake manifold, headers and dual exhaust.
An electric fuel pump, front disc brakes, Crager wheels and under-dash gauge cluster help to complete the modifications.
Acquired by the seller in 2009 in the greater Seattle area, it has been garaged and serviced at home in Greenacres, WA since.
Included in the third-party inspection report are photos of the overall condition of the vehicle which show minor paint chips, interior wear and dry seals consistent with the age of the vehicle.
While attention has been paid to the mechanical modifications, other items including the heater hoses, AC components, power brakes and spare tire and jack are missing.
The emergency flashers, backup lights, clock, fuel gauge and speedometer are all inoperable and a new radio antenna is ready to be installed.
The vinyl top is in excellent condition.
The owner and inspection confirm that the engine starts without issue and runs as designed.
Modifications to the exhaust system are evident in the noise through the mufflers.
The transmission, suspension and brakes all operate well and fluids should be monitored though no active leaks were detected.
Included with the sale are a car cover and replacement radio antenna.
This car is being marketed by a CLASSIC.

About the model The Chevrolet Nova SS was a performance focused variant of the 2nd Gen Chevrolet Nova that debuted in 1966.
The 2nd Gen Nova SS had a new design and sports roof design that mirrored the Chevelle and Impala.
While the Chevelle and Impala were much larger cars, the Nova retained its small stature.
The performance crowd had recognized the potential of a light weight body, and now so did Chevrolet by offering more cubic inch small block V8 options.
The 327 L79 V8, with its 350hp, was now a factory option from Chevrolet, but with the radical cam it was only offered with a manual transmission.
For 1967 the Nova only had slight changes.
Inline six engines were still the entry level power plants for the SS, but an upgrade got you V8 power, from the 195hp or 220hp 283 V8.
The 327 L79 engine was produced in limited numbers, making it a highly desirable and much sought after power plant.
The 2nd Gen Nova SS was built until 1967.
